Saturday 10K To The Beach

We’re doin’ it. You guys asked for a long run so we’re taking it to the beach-each, let's go get away!

We’re gonna meet at the expo stop on Bundy (free parking on the weekends!) do some stretching (because 6 miles aint no joke! Plus we got a 5k on Sunday #savagemode) and run up to San Vicente which will take us to the beach.

We’ll find some fuel, maybe hit the Santa Monica farmers market if that’s your thing (I saw Selena Gomez’s boyfriend there one time, true story. I think he might be shorter irl), then take the expo line back up to Bundy!

Sunday’s Route

Sunday 04/20 🍃 

We got a throwback route this week, so back to the dangerous streets we go (don’t tell the neighborhood council)!

We’ll start at Stoner Park at the corner of Stoner and Missouri and end at Good People coffee (we’re slowly taking over the patio, and I freaking loooove it).

They have coffee ☕️, we bring them good (decent) people. Sounds like a fair trade to me (queue Drake melody) 🎶

What’s Happening On Heylo

Karla Diego shared the Night of Cultura 2025, a free event at UCLA hosted by the Latine Film and Theater Association!

Come watch live plays and short films to celebrate the work of Latine Film and Theater Association on Friday 4/18 and Saturday 4/19!

Doors open at 5pm and the plays and films start at 6pm. They play until 11pm.

Diane Ji is looking for 2 more folks to join her relay team for the Altadena to Palisades Ultra Marathan Relay Fundraiser - hosted by the Silver Lake Track Club. DM her on Heylo if you’re interested!

We’re still got plenty of Sawtelle Run Club flyers to get rid of. If you know a good spot or want to take one to your favorite local establishment, let us know and we can get you one (or 6. The printer went crazy after getting new ink, like the IRS printing money after tax day)!
