LA Marathon Volunteer Group!

We’re looking for volunteers for the LA Marathon. Collis had a member approach him with the idea and now we have a group!

This Weeks Routes

Thursday 02/13 - Valentines Eve Run

Wear pink to celebrate valentines day! Or wear black because you’re single and hate being excluded from a holiday because you can’t find anyone that puts up with your sarcastic ass….whoops, guess it’s just me 🙄 

This run is as confusing as it looks but Milad and Collis have rehearsed it so we’ll be more prepared this week than last!

As always: flashers are encouraged! Headlamps, glow sticks, reflective shirts, shorts, shoes, tape, whatever you got to shine, bring for our evening run!

Sunday 02/16

This route is the same as last weeks, be ready for that hill up Federal!

We’ll start at Stoner Park and end at Good People coffee so please plan accordingly!

Last Week’s Recap

Thursday - Running in the rain

Last Thursday’s run ended with some rain but everyone made it back to stoner!

Collis gave Milad 4 minutes notice that he was leading the route and definitely took a few wrong turns but we’ve rehearsed it so we’ll get a full 5k in tomorrow (provided weather allows)

Sunday - Biggest run of the year so far!

Sunday’s run was our biggest turnout of the year so far! We had almost 25 members show up and run with us.

It was great to see all of you at Good People, thanks for showing out to run and staying to mingle!

Hope to see just as many of you this Sunday before the Super Bowl!

Hike Next Saturday

Sawtelle Run Club is doing it’s first hike on Saturday, Feb 22 at 8am.

We’re meet at stoner park and carpool to the hiking trail (trail still TBD, more in next weeks email)
